Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Yamabushi Labs, a service operated by Yamabushi Labs Ltd (Flat F, 128 Reaston Street, London, England, SE14 5FW, company number 17341529). By connecting a WhatsApp Business account or sending messages through the service, the clinic agrees to these terms.

The service

Yamabushi Labs connects a clinic's WhatsApp Business account (via Meta Embedded Signup or manually provided credentials), manages its approved message templates, and sends appointment reminder messages on the clinic's behalf through the official WhatsApp Business Platform.

Clinic responsibilities

  • The clinic remains the owner of its WhatsApp Business account and is responsible for complying with Meta's WhatsApp Business terms and messaging policies.
  • The clinic must have a lawful basis (e.g. patient consent) to send appointment reminders to the phone numbers it uploads or configures.
  • The service may only be used for appointment-related messaging to the clinic's own patients — not for unsolicited marketing, spam, or content prohibited by WhatsApp policy.

Our responsibilities

  • We store the clinic's WhatsApp credentials encrypted at rest and use them solely to operate the service (see the Privacy Policy).
  • We submit message templates for Meta approval and only send messages using templates Meta has approved.

Availability and liability

The service depends on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform; delivery of individual messages is not guaranteed and Meta may change or restrict platform access. The service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, Yamabushi Labs Ltd's liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the preceding 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed appointments.

Termination

The clinic may disconnect its WhatsApp Business account and stop using the service at any time, and may request deletion of its data as described in the Data Deletion Instructions. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or WhatsApp policy.
